A traditional venue isn't bad. But you can have the same tent, draping, chandeliers and dance floor at the place you choose, and put the difference toward food, photography or the honeymoon.

The day before
Our crew arrives with everything in your proposal. The tent is anchored (stakes on grass, weights on concrete), draping and chandeliers go up, the floor is leveled and backdrops are installed. Tables, chairs and linens arrive clean and inspected. Arrange them yourself, or our crew sets them up for $30 per table-and-8-chair set.

The morning of
You wake up and the venue is ready. No trucks, no one building structures, no sweating over string lights. You focus on hair, the dress, photos and family.

The reception
Guests walk in, look up at the draping and chandeliers, and ask where you found this venue. It's a backyard. Nobody can tell.

Our crew comes back and breaks down everything. The yard is left exactly as it was.

3 mistakes that ruin outdoor weddings

Underestimating tent size
You book a 20×50 because a chart said 100 guests need 1,000 sq ft. On the day, tables are jammed, the dance floor is tiny and the buffet blocks the exit. A comfortable 100-guest wedding needs 1,600 to 2,000 sq ft: a 20×80 or a 30×60.

Skipping sidewalls
Sacramento can hit 105°F in June and rain without warning in October. That's why all four sidewalls come with every tent at no extra charge. Use none, one or all four.

The draping effect
There's a moment at every draped wedding when guests walk in and stop. They look up at white fabric falling from the ceiling and chandeliers glowing, and they say, "This is incredible."
Draping is priced per 10-foot section of tent length: a 20×40 needs 4 sections, a 30×60 needs 6. When you book draping, your lighting is upgraded to chandeliers at no extra cost. It's the biggest visual change per dollar you can make.
